the colonization of the dune planet arrakis
began with the selective capture of a closed society
the strongest of the men were brought to the planet
and forced to mine the geriatric spice
the harsh atmosphere and the desert conditions
resulted in a culture that revolves around conflict
the people strove for freedom by retreating to the desert
to live off of the minor resources the world would spare
once they were free they developed technology
that enhanced survival in the harsh landscape
forsaken by society they fell into isolation
to work on a new master plan
to convert the landscape
into a lush paradise and fill
the desert with plant life
and give a great ocean to the planet
a deed which must be done
to secure a future for the entire human race
in order to maintain the function of the human empire
the spice must flow

the chosen one has been revealed
the one named muad'dib
the prophet of dune
one who can observe and predict the fabric of time
forsaken son of the duke
fight to avenge his death
a product of drug conditioning
exposed to melange at youth
to usurp the world's authority
to manipulate its people
conspiracy contrived
by the emperor himself
involving the harkonnen baron
enemy of paul usul
their forces will clash
upon the blooded sands of arrakis
the fremen rallying around him
the sardaukar striving to destroy him

brought to his knees
by the legions of the desert
you're walking through the desert

the ones who've left you to die
have taken your only means of survival
it's only a matter of time
dehydrated you will not go far
stumbling onto the pre-spice mass
torn apart by exploding gas
following the battle of arrakis
the sardaukar rallied up the remnant harkonnens
cast in the path of an oncoming worm
consuming their bodies entirely
the seat of the emperor bestowed
upon the shoulders of a renegade regime
in the name of a new empire
the spice must flow
